Downtown Tupelo was packed Saturday afternoon for Elvis Festival.
Chamberofcommerce.org has revealed their 2019 report detailing the best places to live in each state. Of the 28 Mississippi cities listed, three of which are located in northeast Mississippi.
Oxford (#7) was tops among the region, while Tupelo (#12) and Corinth (#19) followed.
Some 2,500 cities nationwide were examined and ranked, with employment, housing, quality of life, education, and health, serving as the essential factors.
"According to the US Census Bureau, tens of millions of Americans relocate every year to improve their living situation in one way or another: some for reduced cost of living and housing, others for better employment opportunities, and others for an improved quality of life outside of finances. The Best Cities to Live report gives these families a concrete list of cities to consider before making the big move."
